As I approached my creator with wonder in my head,
I could not help but notice the love I felt instead.
His gaze was upon me like a thousand burning suns
I felt his love flowing all around me
without a bit of fright for the one

He spoke to me with compassion and told me what I was to do
I accepted his holy charge, and then I came looking for you.
Your twin has left our plane, was all he needed to say
for I knew the moment he spoke, the search would take more than a day

Isaiah spoke to me as I was walking towards the gate.
He reassured me what I would feel would be much more than fate.
He warned of my mortal life and how I would choose to stand.
He smiled as I thanked him and with that same smile he gently shook my hand.

Gabriel was waiting, at the entrance to the gate
He smiled at me and said, “My brother, your return will await”
I told him I would not forget my role, within this heavenly realm.
He only smiled wider, as he laid me on the heavenly ground.

I will strike from you all memories with faith you will return.
He placed his finger across my mouth and my soul began to burn.
I felt my memory fading
I felt my body swell
“I will not take your oath from you, for with it, you will do well”

As I faded into darkness, and headed for my future
I heard the oath repeating in my head,
Down, down, down…

Today I now remember what was said to me.
The wholeness of the events was set into my being
by angels and prophets alike.
I remember my oath in full, in thanks to Gods heavenly light


For the words of eternity are flowing through my head,
For the love of all beings is held in my hands,
For the care of all spirits is rested in my heart,
I will guard the soul given to me,
and God willing we will not depart.
